Having thanked the fortune-teller

I took a slow walk back to the ship, picking up today's Daily Mail on the way.In spite of every possible information available on the internet, there is something quite special about a newspaper.I love reading magazines, too, and bring several with me on every trip.I stopped in the Oriental dining room for lunch - some beef curry and a side salad, nice. Then I sat down to my Toshiba and at 3 was ready to sunbathe on the balcony. The sun was glorious, the breeze at times quite strong, then the clouds took over the sky.Quick shower and at 6 was standing in a long queue in front of the dining room..Had the nicest of the nicest tables, 106, by the window, quite special, even though we were still stationary and I spent 45 minutes looking at people returning to the ship.Dinner was very good indeed-Lancashire black pudding, award winning no less, with a fried egg, bacon crumb, cheddar cheese, onion and sage soup, pan fried red mullet fillet, potato gnocchi,Mediterranean vegetables, shellfish ragout, baked New York cheese cake with raspberry coulis. On the way back to my stateroom I stopped in the Headliners theatre to see the last half an hour of the show called Gravity, by the Britannia troupe, having missed 15 minutes. It was a lovely end to a lovely and quite an educational day.
