We are sailing for three days to Sri Lanka and on Friday 29 March we dock in the capital,Colombo.
As I write am sitting on the 12th,the highest level of the ship,reserved for the Grill travellers only.The sun-beds are of the quality I have not seen on any other vessel,thick and very comfortable. Even here there are coveted spots and this morning I have managed to collar one - yes,they are the ones at the end of a marquee,where you can move the bed comfortably towards the sun and back in the shade.It gets hot, very,very hot,scorchingly hot.It rained last evening and it rained all night, but did not pour and the air is slightly fresher, be it temporarily.It is going to be a wonderful day.
