Hong Kong is the 81st country I have visited.

It was leased by China to Britain from 1842 to 1997,now firmly back in Chinese hands with some autonomy. It is one of the most densely populated areas in the world.About 7.5 million live on 1,046 sq km.[Slovakia has 5.5 million of people living on 49 .036 sq km.] For a small "country" H K packs quite a punch. It is the world's most vertical city.Public transport travelling rate exceeds  90 percent, the highest in the world. The income per capita is one of the highest. H K breathes prosperity.
What astonishes me is the size of the designer shops, given that  space is at a premium  [and no,I did not see any sexy evening ankle boots, was not even tempted to try any Laboutins.] In the shopping centre next to where The Queen Victoria had docked,  practically the whole of the massive  basement is devoted to designer  boutiques for children.
The women in H K are well dressed, many a time I thought what a lovely outfit. In Sydney, Australia, there was one  woman only I considered stylish.One.She was tattooed top to bottom, wearing 50's dress. And she pulled it off.
H K,small as it is, deserves another look and I would very much like to look  again.
