The Singapore Marina Bay Sands shopping centre

has everything. Designer shops for adults and children.Excellent coffee.Gondola rides.Yes, water bang in the middle of the shopping mall.But it did not have the Manolos I set my heart on.Lightest sand colour.They had them palest blue,but I wanted them in neutral.Not in my size.

They say if you cannot  get it in Singapore, it does not exist.Singapore,Singapore, you disappointed me in 2019 when I wanted sexy ankle boots. I found them 3 years later in Russell & Bromley, in London.Is this where my Manolos are waiting for me?

The Sensory Scape is the star attraction on Sentosa.

A lot is supposed to happen there in the evening, but we were there in the morning and all I could see was gaudiness.

Why oh why was it necessary to display so prominently artificial flowers,why.

The resort itself lacks style and class, but the cable car ride from The Faber mountain to Sentosa is absolutely wonderful, the best part of my two day stay in Singapore.

The brown stone building seen from the cable car appears to be empty, to me it is the most beautiful building i  Singapore.

Driving from Phu My to Ho Chi Minh City

for almost two hours we saw the good, the bad and the ugly.

There is still so much unbearable poverty in Vietnam. These kind people who often have so little deserve so much more.

We had lunch at the Equatorial hotel. Delicious. I had seconds and I never have seconds.
The gentleman in green was our lovely knowledgeable tour guide.

The bus driver was sheer delight, patience personified,laughing, joking,he made even the 90 minutes stuck in the traffic jam fun.
