COLUMBUS, JUNIOR SUITE 11140.

Ask any-one what "a new ship"implies and without exception every-one would say - new as opposite of old, clean, neat, well decorated, well presented, simply the best it can be,new furniture, new bathroom fittings, new balcony furniture, new everything,New. But new Columbus is not. THE BALCONY.It is narrow and long, but fits two chairs and a good-size large round metal table comfortably. It has railings, instead of glass and this suits me perfectly,as I can sunbathe in the nude without being reflected in the glass. The blue patterned flooring is old, badly fitted, partly laid in small pieces that rise up,has holes in them and when it rains it takes forever to drain. But the worst thing of all is,that it is absolutely filthy, covered in stains,as are the the two deck-chairs,the most uncomfortable I have ever had on a ship and absolutely not suitable for a Junior Suite, utter disgrace,Cruise and Maritime, utter disgrace. There is rust all around.splashes I cannot tell of what on the white walls. There is absolutely nothing new abut this shabby scruffy balcony.
