The Sydney Harbour Bridge is a steel arch bridge nicknamed the"Coathanger".Completed in 1932 it carries road and rail traffic,a bus lane,a cycle lane and a footpath. It is 1,149 m long and I walked it to the end and back.

The Sydney Opera House,designed by a Danish Architect Jorn Utzon,opened in 1973,is a UNESCO world heritage site,considered  a masterpiece of 20-th century architecture and I do not like it. Cold, unwelcoming,in need of TLC.

But for me it is the fair-dinkum aussies that make Sydney what it  is-a place to fall in love with and cherish.

is in Normandy,located on the Southern bank of Seine Estuary where it meets the English Channel.Honfleur  was a key inspiration for the impressionist movement, Claude Monet and Eugene Boudin loved this part of France.
