The star of Sibenik is Sveti Jakov (St.James)
The Episcopal seat of the Sebenik Diocese,UNESCO protected,the most important architectural monument of the Renaissance in Croatia. It took 105 years to build (1431-1536),is entirely from stone,no nails used.Frieze has 71 sculptured faces of men women, children.
